Introduction

At Ketabi Studio, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use Ketabi.

Your spiritual journey is a deeply personal matter. We want to be completely transparent: while your data is securely stored in a cloud database to allow syncing across your devices, it remains entirely private to you.

Data Collection & Storage

We collect only the information necessary to provide the Ketabi experience: account data (encrypted email and password) via Authentication, and usage data (prayers logged, adhkar completions, journal entries).

All user data is securely stored and encrypted at rest using Supabase, a trusted, industry-standard cloud provider. This ensures your data is protected against unauthorized access.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers.

Private Aqiqah Pages

If you create a Ketabi Welcome private Aqiqah page, we process the information you choose to enter, such as a child's name, event details, optional giving links, and your email address so we can provide your guest page and private host dashboard. Guests who respond may provide a name, RSVP, party size, optional note, and a message for your family. If the organizer chooses to add an invitation photo, we store it in a private file area and use it only on that invitation and in the organizer's keepsake export.

Guest RSVP details and messages are available to the organizer through the organizer's separate host link. We do not use guest RSVPs or messages for marketing. Private pages are unlisted and excluded from search indexing, but they are link-based rather than password-protected: anyone who receives a guest link can open it. Please share only details and photos you have permission to share, and share the host link with no one.

We remove incomplete, unpaid Aqiqah page drafts after approximately 30 days. A page organizer may request deletion of a live or archived page and its related RSVPs, messages, and invitation photo by contacting us at the address below.

Data Access & Privacy

We want to be perfectly clear: we do not read your journal entries, prayer logs, or any personal spiritual reflections. Your data belongs to you.

If you choose to delete your account, all associated personal data, including journal entries and prayer logs, will be permanently erased from our servers.
